Founder David Kensick developed the platform after watching his mother navigate growing older, while remaining determined to live independently in the home she shared with her late husband for more than three decades.

David Kensick brings an uncommon combination of experiences to the company. His background includes serving as an F-16 pilot in the U.S. Air Force, working in operations technology at United Airlines, and contributing to technology startups focused on applying AI to solve everyday problems.
Those experiences helped shape Sage Companion™, but its direction has always been rooted in something much more personal: helping his own mother continue living life on her own terms.
