For Sorel Roget, real estate is far more than a career—it’s a passion centered on people and meaningful connections. Since embarking on her journey in 2014, Sorel has cultivated a flourishing business in New York City, driven by a genuine desire to assist others. Her success is evident in the foundation of her business: word-of-mouth referrals and personal recommendations that reflect the trust and confidence she has consistently earned.

Clients describe Sorel as more than just a real estate agent. To them, she is a partner, an advocate, and often a friend. Her talent for building deep connections stems from her genuine curiosity and an exceptional ability to listen. “I love uncovering what my clients truly need,” she explains. “Sometimes, it’s about asking questions they haven’t even considered yet.” One client noted, “Sorel invests as much in the search as the buyer does. She understands that success means her clients are completely satisfied with their choice for all the right reasons, so she’s in it for the long haul.” This collaborative and personalized approach ensures her clients trust her implicitly and enthusiastically recommend her to others.

Sorel’s journey into real estate is as distinctive as her approach. Her career began in hospitality and corporate leadership, where she developed remarkable business acumen. Armed with an MBA from the renowned École hôtelière de Lausanne, she advanced through leadership roles at Starwood Hotels, managing revenue systems across the Asia-Pacific region and contributing to the launch of the W Hotel Hong Kong. Later, as Director of Sales and Marketing for an entertainment company, she negotiated two of its largest deals. Her international career, which spanned five countries and over 75 destinations, sharpened her strategic and analytical skills while fostering a deep appreciation for cultural diversity—all of which she brings to her real estate practice.

A pivotal moment in her journey was her first personal real estate transaction: selling her late mother’s home. This deeply emotional experience gave Sorel a profound understanding of the personal and transitional aspects of buying and selling homes. “Real estate isn’t just about numbers,” she says. “It’s about helping people navigate life’s transitions with empathy, clarity, and understanding.”

Today, Sorel thrives in New York City’s complex real estate market. From guiding clients through co-op board applications to delivering seamless buying and selling experiences, she is known for her meticulous attention to detail and dedication. Her financial expertise and thorough processes ensure smooth, successful transactions, earning her a reputation as a trusted resource even among her peers.

For Sorel, success isn’t defined by accolades or sales volume—though she has achieved both. Instead, it’s about the network of trust she’s built. “I love working with great people, regardless of the price point,” she shares. Her integrity, patience, and focus on delivering results transform satisfied clients into loyal ambassadors. One client’s referral led to five additional clients, four of whom purchased homes and referred her again. “That kind of trust is the ultimate compliment,” Sorel says. “It means my work resonates on both a professional and personal level.”

As a Certified Professional Coach, Sorel offers clients even more. She helps them navigate significant life changes—from moving to career transitions—providing actionable strategies and heartfelt support that extend beyond real estate. Her empathy and strategic insight ensure clients feel truly understood and guided.

Outside of work, Sorel indulges her passion for wine and cocktails as a certified sommelier or spends time with her family in California. No matter where she is, her focus remains on helping her clients achieve extraordinary next chapters in their lives.
